In a New Zealand first for transportation of shipping containers, back in 2019 ContainerCo introduced the country’s largest electric heavy vehicle (eHV) to its operations, moving containers between port and rail facilities across Auckland.
True to their word at that time, after having proven viability ContainerCo are now taking the next step on an ambitious long-term programme to improve on their ability to silently and cleanly move containers in urban environments with the introduction of further eHV’s to their fleet.
Jump Charging are proud to have been selected to support such an impressive endeavour, providing rapid charging facilities at three (3) of their premises initially with the first of these complete and operational as of March 2023.
With the ability to support our customers at all stages of their fleet transition, Jump Charging were engaged from the outset to design, supply, install and commission the charging infrastructure. In addition, Jump Charging are committed to supporting ContainerCo for the long-term and are responsible for the ongoing management and maintenance of these installations on behalf to ensure business continuity.
Watch this space as we share more on this project and ContainerCo’s commercial zero emissions journey as it progresses.
